The Red Oak consulting team is led by Karen Pantaleo, a passionate and proven HR professional who is highly regarded by both clients and industry, her reputation earned during her career in insurance, financial services and life sciences. An active HR Association local chapter Mentor, Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) and CHRP Exams Committee Volunteer, Karen is recognized for her 25 years of experience and her commitment to providing meaningful, ethical and practical advice and guidance. Karen is also very active in the Toastmasters organization and is nearing completion of her Distinguished Toastmaster designation.

Her extensive client list includes organizations from medical device, biotech, commercial aviation, transportation, construction, aerospace, insurance and retail industries.

  • Partnered with sales and service distributor to drive substantial financial growth through implementation of customized HR program. Completed gap analysis and identified business, communication and training challenges and goals; developed and implemented HR cornerstone program; and provided management training and coaching.
  • Provided onsite support to manufacturing company HR team suddenly short-staffed. Determined priorities; managed day-to-day operational activities; updated procedures and trained new HR hire.
  • Counselled retail firm through challenging employee termination. Coached management on addressing sick leave, leave of absence and termination implications; provided advice in response to litigated employee response.
  • Supported organization leadership through HR implications of acquiring another business. Coached management on exiting, integration or reallocation of new and current employees and developed long-term HR strategic plan in support of continued operational growth.
